Glass bottle – medicine bottle with throat spray represents a professional solution for packaging and applying liquid preparations where precise, targeted and hygienic dosing directly into the oral cavity or throat is required. Transparent glass allows visual control of the filling level and the condition of the product, while the built-in spray ensures comfortable and repeatable use while maintaining the stability of the contents.
This packaging is suitable for filling various liquid formulations, such as oral hygiene preparations, herbal blends, special solutions or homemade cosmetic and herbal sprays. Thanks to high-quality glass and a precise dosing mechanism, it provides reliable protection of the contents, easy handling and a professional appearance of the final product.
This glass bottle with throat spray forms a functional unit of the packaging and the dosing element, with the combination at Handymade having been designed to ensure reliable dosing and comfortable use. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the packaging exactly meets the requirements of your particular product.

Yes, the packaging can be reused for home and artisan use, provided that you follow basic hygiene principles and check that the spray mechanism is functioning correctly. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray attachment must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. For disinfection, we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in a quality suitable for cleaning packaging, available in the Handymade range: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after thorough drying of the packaging and components is the bottle ready for refilling.
The glass part of the bottle should first be rinsed with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, then thoroughly rinsed with clean water and left to drain. After mechanical cleaning, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface with alcohol – proven products are IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. The spray mechanism must be flushed with an appropriate amount of disinfectant solution so that it passes through the entire dosing path. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry thoroughly at room temperature and only then reassemble them and fill with the product.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend not throwing it into mixed waste, but recycling as many raw materials as possible. After emptying and basic rinsing of product residues, the glass bottle can be placed in a container designated for glass according to local waste sorting rules. The spray mechanism and any plastic parts should be separated and sorted in the manner recommended by your collection system (usually as plastic, or into mixed waste if this is required by local rules). The specific types of packaging materials can be found in the product parameters on the Handymade website, based on which it is possible to choose the most suitable method of sorting and recycling.
The throat spray is designed for precise, targeted application into the oral cavity and in the throat area. It is suitable for herbal and functional solutions, oral sprays, breath fresheners, solutions with specific active substances and formulations where dosing in a smaller volume onto a specific spot is important. It is always necessary to verify the compatibility of your specific formulation with the packaging material and with the spray mechanism – especially for preparations containing oils, with a high alcohol content or for very viscous solutions.
