The glass bottle with spray pump is a practical and elegant packaging solution, ideal for filling various liquid formulations that need to be applied as a fine mist. Thanks to the high‑quality glass and the functional spray mechanism, it is suitable for cosmetic preparations, homemade blends and professional products where precise and hygienic dosing is important. The transparent bottle allows for visual control of the contents and their colour, which is appreciated by cosmetic makers and small‑scale producers when presenting their own products.
This glass bottle with spray pump is supplied as a functional unit – packaging with a dosing mechanism adapted to the specific neck finish and volume. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products containing alcohol, essential oils or other active substances.

Yes, the packaging can be reused if handled correctly and hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is important to thoroughly clean the bottle and the spray pump and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol‑based product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant‑based. After thorough drying, you can safely refill the container with a new formulation.
The bottle is ideal for all liquid preparations that require fine atomisation – for example facial and body sprays, hydrolates, hair tonics, blends with essential oils, aromatherapeutic room sprays or disinfectant solutions intended for the skin and surfaces. Before filling, always check the compatibility of the specific formula with the glass and the plastic parts of the spray pump.
It is recommended to fill a smaller amount of the product into one test bottle and observe the behaviour of the packaging over time. Pay particular attention to the sealing of the spray pump, the smoothness of dosing, any changes to the material of the plastic parts and the stability of the formulation itself (colour, scent, consistency). The test should be carried out under the conditions in which the product will actually be stored and used.
Before reuse, first rinse the bottle thoroughly with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent to remove residues of the previous filling. Then rinse with clean water, allow it to dry and disinfect it with an alcohol‑based product (for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant‑based). It is advisable to flush the spray pump through with a small amount of alcohol and then with clean water to remove any deposits in the mechanism.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it in accordance with local waste‑sorting rules. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed in the container designated for glass, while the plastic parts of the spray pump are sorted into the appropriate container for plastics. Before handing it over for recycling, empty the packaging and remove any coarse product residues to facilitate the recycling process. Always adapt the specific steps to the information about the packaging material given in the product parameters.
