The glass medicine bottle with white cap and dropper insert is a practical packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of various liquid preparations. Closing by means of the dropper insert ensures controlled dripping and minimizes the contact of the contents with air, which supports stability and safe use in both cosmetic and home formulations.
This type of bottle is ideal for liquid products that require gentle, drop-by-drop dosing – from serums, oils, essential blends through to various solutions. Thanks to the durable glass and sealing closure, the contents are well protected during storage and normal handling.
This glass bottle with dropper insert forms a ready-made combination of packaging and closure. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – check the sealing, the functionality of the dropper and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation (viscosity, oil content or content of active ingredients).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dropper and then disinfecting them, ideally using alcohol-based preparations such as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant ethanol. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the stability of your product.
We recommend disassembling the dropper from the closure after emptying the packaging, rinsing it mechanically with warm water and a mild detergent and then thoroughly rinsing with clean water. After washing, it is advisable to disinfect the glass part of the dropper as well as the inner surfaces of the closure with an alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or plant ethanol, and allow it to dry completely in a clean, dust-free place.
We recommend storing the glass medicine bottle upright, well closed and protected from direct sunlight, high temperatures and humidity. The stability of the contents also depends on the formulation itself, but in general it is advisable to place the bottle in a dry, cooler and darker place, out of the reach of children. For more viscous or sensitive formulations, it is recommended to regularly check the clarity, odour and colour of the contents visually.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the materials indicated in the product parameters. The glass bottle can usually be sorted into the container intended for glass after emptying and basic rinsing. The closure and the dropper (if they are made of plastic or composite materials) should be separated and sorted into the appropriate fraction according to local waste collection rules. Before handing over for recycling, make sure that no residues of hazardous or hardly degradable substances remain in the container.
To make searching easier, use the advanced filter which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In it you can set parameters such as neck type, size, colour and packaging material. Filtering allows you to quickly narrow down the selection to bottles, medicine bottles, jars or other containers that are most suitable for the specific product type and the desired dosing method.
The dropper is ideal for low- to medium-viscosity liquids that are used in small amounts – serums, oil elixirs, active solutions or essential oils. For very thick, gel-like or creamy formulations, it may be more appropriate to choose another dosing type, for example a pump or an applicator. When designing the packaging, we always recommend testing the behaviour of your specific formula in the chosen closure type so that handling is comfortable and precise for the end user.
