The plastic medicine bottle made of PET material represents a practical and lightweight packaging suitable for filling various liquid and free-flowing preparations. Thanks to the durable plastic, the bottle is ideal for the safe storage of products that need reliable protection during transport as well as during everyday use. The brown version of the packaging helps protect more sensitive contents from unwanted light, thereby supporting their stability during storage.
This type of packaging is popular in the production of homemade and professional cosmetics, where emphasis is placed on the combination of functionality, aesthetics and easy dosing. The plastic bottle – medicine bottle is designed to be easy to grip, practical to fill and compatible with several types of closures and dispensing systems. Thanks to this, it is suitable for small and medium-sized product runs, test batches and final products intended for sale.
The standalone plastic bottle – medicine bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dispensing, such as screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators, depending on the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure the packaging works reliably with your particular product.

Since this is packaging made of PET material, it is not suitable for exposure to high temperatures. In contact with heat, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging, which may negatively affect sealing and the appearance of the product. The packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. When cleaning, it is necessary to choose a gentler procedure at room temperature and to use the recommended disinfectant products according to the instructions below.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles and appropriate storage are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, we recommend the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After using the disinfectant, allow the packaging to dry thoroughly at room temperature. As it is made of PET material, do not expose the bottle to high temperatures, do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher in order to avoid deformation of the packaging.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material type specified in the product parameters for the given bottle. In the case of PET material, it is advisable to remove any remaining contents, rinse it if possible with cold or lukewarm water (without exposure to high temperatures) and then sort it into the container designated for plastics. Sort the closure and any dispensing components according to their material, if they can be separated. By following local rules for separate waste collection, you contribute to effective recycling and waste reduction.
This plastic medicine bottle is most suitable primarily for liquid and low-viscosity formulations, such as facial and body waters/lotions, toners, hair lotions, hydrolats, light serums, aromatic blends or various cosmetic solutions. In combination with a suitable type of closure or dispenser, it can also be used for products dosed dropwise or in the form of a fine mist. For thicker emulsions and gels, it is necessary to choose an appropriate dispensing system that allows comfortable application of the final product.

We recommend combining filtering with checking the parameters and description for each product to ensure that the chosen packaging is also suitable in terms of consistency and the intended use of the final product.
Since the packaging is made from PET material, it is not intended for exposure to higher temperatures or for thermal processing of the contents directly in the bottle. At high temperatures, the packaging may deform, sealing performance may deteriorate and the appearance may change. Do not place the bottle in a dishwasher, do not boil it and do not expose it to prolonged direct sunlight or radiant heat. Storage is recommended at room temperature, in a dry place and out of direct light, with the brown colour of the packaging itself helping to limit the impact of light on more sensitive formulations.
