The plastic bottle made of PET material with a transparent closure represents a practical and reliable packaging solution especially for liquid cosmetic preparations, light emulsions and other formulations where convenient dispensing and control of the contents are important. Thanks to the clear body, you have an overview of the condition and quantity of the product, which makes both storage and presentation of finished products easier. This packaging is designed to withstand everyday use and to be suitable for both home and semi-professional filling. PET plastic is lightweight, strong and, when handled correctly, maintains the stability of common cosmetic formulations during storage.
This bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems – depending on the selected parameters, it can be combined with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators for everyday use. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
When filling thicker emulsions or specific active ingredients, it is advisable to verify whether the selected type of dispenser ensures smooth and even release of the product and whether the closure seals reliably even during long-term storage.

We recommend studying this information in detail especially for professional use, series production or when filling products with a higher content of active substances, so that you can be sure of the suitability of the given type of packaging for the specific formulation.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Disinfection helps to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the usability of your cosmetic products. At the same time, we recommend visually inspecting the packaging regularly and replacing it with a new one if there are signs of damage or wear.
PET packaging is strong and lightweight, but more sensitive to high temperatures. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, as there is a risk of deformation of the packaging when it comes into contact with hot water or when stored in an overheated environment. For this reason, the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning, use lukewarm water and a mild detergent, followed by disinfection with alcohol if necessary. Avoid aggressive solvents that can damage the surface of the plastic and worsen its mechanical properties.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. Plastic bottles made of PET are normally placed in the container for plastics. Before recycling, it is advisable to remove any product residues and any labels and to compress the bottle slightly so that it takes up less space. The closure can be recycled together with the bottle, provided it is also made of plastic – follow the recycling symbol on the packaging and the recommendations of your local collection system. By sorting correctly, you enable the material to be further processed and put to new use.
The bottle is ideal especially for liquid and low-viscosity cosmetic products such as facial waters, toners, hydrolats, hair tonics, mild cleansing solutions or body sprays (when using a suitable spray pump). It is also suitable for travel sizes or samples of already finished products. For formulations with a high proportion of essential oils, strong solvents or very active ingredients, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test to verify the long-term stability of both the material and the contents. In the case of specific professional applications, follow the recommendations given in the Packaging Quality Certificate and the product parameters.
