The plastic bottle with trigger sprayer is a practical and reliable packaging solution intended primarily for filling and applying liquid products with fine or medium-intensity spraying. Thanks to the combination of a stable plastic body and a functional mechanical spray head, it enables comfortable, controlled dispensing without unnecessary waste of the contents. The packaging is suitable for various cosmetic and cleaning formulations, while the trigger system ensures convenient use even with frequent application.
The design of the bottle with sprayer is engineered to withstand normal handling and transport, while helping to protect the contents from contamination when handled correctly. Thanks to the possibility of repeated use under proper hygienic conditions, this packaging represents a flexible and economical solution for both smaller and larger product batches.
This bottle with trigger sprayer is presented on Handymade as a functional combination of packaging and dispensing system. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verify sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil components, etc.) so that you can be sure of reliably long-term use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused multiple times if hygienic principles are followed. Before first use and before each refilling, we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bottle and trigger sprayer, allowing them to dry and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based product. To disinfect the inner surface of the packaging and the suction mechanism of the sprayer, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Allow the disinfectant solution to act briefly, then actuate the sprayer so that the alcohol reaches the entire mechanism, and let the components dry completely before filling with the final product.
The trigger sprayer is primarily intended for low-viscosity and medium-viscosity liquids, such as aqueous solutions, hydrolats and lighter cosmetic sprays. With strongly oily or very thick formulations, suction performance may deteriorate and atomization may become uneven. Therefore, before launching the product on the market, we always recommend testing how the specific formula behaves in this type of packaging – check dosing smoothness, uniformity of the spray mist and the performance of back suction during prolonged use.
The bottle can be reused with appropriate handling, but we recommend reserving it long-term for the same or a similar type of product (for example, always aqueous cosmetic sprays). When switching to a different type of contents, it is essential to clean the packaging thoroughly, rinse it and, before refilling, also disinfect it with alcohol – for example by using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Disinfection helps to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and of the new formulation’s fragrance or stability being affected by residues of the previous contents.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in sorted waste collection, empty any product residues and rinse the bottle to minimize contamination of the recycling stream. The bottle body and the sprayer mechanism are usually sorted into the appropriate container according to material (for example plastic), and you should always follow local waste-sorting rules and the recommendations given with the product on Handymade. Proper recycling supports reprocessing of the material and reduction of waste volumes.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find in the upper part of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can narrow down the range according to key parameters – neck (type and thread diameter), size, colour and material of the packaging. In this way you can quickly find bottles, jars, pill bottles or other packaging materials that correspond to your formulation and intended dosing method. In case of doubt, we recommend comparing the descriptions and parameters of the individual products, or testing several variants in the form of a smaller trial batch.
