The plastic bottle with pump represents a practical and hygienic packaging for dispensing various liquid preparations. It is designed to enable comfortable and precise dispensing without unnecessary contact with the contents, which helps protect the stability and purity of the cosmetics or other mixtures being prepared. Thanks to the reliable pump, it is suitable for products that require convenient, repeatable and controlled dispensing directly from the packaging.
This type of packaging is popular for the production of both homemade and professional preparations, where not only functionality but also the aesthetics of the final product are important. The closed pump system helps to limit the contact of the contents with air and reduces the risk of contamination during everyday use.
This bottle with dosing pump forms a functional unit that is ready for immediate use without the need to additionally select a closure. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the packaging works optimally with your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if handled appropriately and not damaged. For each new filling, however, it is essential to observe basic hygiene principles – thoroughly clean the bottle and the pump and then disinfect them with a suitable preparation (for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol). For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying and airing is the bottle ready for a new filling.
First we recommend disassembling the packaging – separating the bottle from the pump and any cap. Mechanically remove the residues of the original product, then rinse all parts with warm water and a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. After washing, it is suitable to disinfect the surfaces and the internal parts using an alcohol-based preparation (e.g. IPA or ethanol) and leave them to dry completely. For plastic packaging it is not suitable to use extremely hot water or boiling, so that deformation or damage to the functional parts of the pump does not occur.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend placing it in sorted waste according to the type of plastic given in the product parameter table (recycling symbol and material abbreviation). Before putting it into the appropriate container, it is suitable to empty the bottle and remove any remaining contents. In the case of a combination of different materials (for example plastic bottle and plastic-metal pump), it is ideal to separate the individual parts and sort them according to local recycling rules. In this way you support more efficient waste processing and reuse of the material.
Pump packaging proves itself especially for liquid or lightly viscous preparations, where precise and comfortable dispensing is required. You will use it for liquid soaps, body and face lotions, cleansing gels, lighter hair preparations or for disinfecting solutions. For thick butters or very viscous creams, dispensing can be more demanding, therefore for your own formulations we recommend performing a test of consistency and dosing before the final filling of all packaging.
To make selection easier, you can use the extended filter located in the upper part of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. Thanks to it, you can quickly narrow the offer according to several parameters – especially according to neck type, size, colour and material of the packaging. In this way you will easily choose a bottle, vial, jar or another container that will best suit your product and the planned way of dispensing.
