Plastic medicine bottle in a brown design with an elegant black-and-gold glossy dispenser and a transparent top cap is a universal container suitable for professional and home packaging of liquid cosmetic preparations and other special formulations. Thanks to practical dispensing, it helps maintain cleanliness during work, minimizes the contact of the contents with air and supports hygienic, repeatable and controlled application of the product. The brown walls of the container also help to limit light exposure, thereby contributing to better protection of more sensitive formulations within the declared properties of the material.
This bottle is supplied as a combination of container and dispenser, so it is ready for immediate use without the need for further selection of compatible closures. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure of optimal performance for your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
According to the material composition stated in the product parameters, we recommend that disposal and recycling be carried out in accordance with the relevant recycling symbol on the packaging. If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, it is advisable to empty it, remove any remaining contents and place it in sorted waste according to the type of plastic specified for the product on Handymade. In this way, you support an environmentally friendly approach and proper handling of packaging material.
The brown bottle with dispenser is designed as packaging for various liquid and semi-liquid cosmetic preparations, while limiting direct access of light and air to the contents. However, suitability for a specific formulation must always be verified by your own stability test – we recommend short-term and medium-term tests of the behaviour of the product in the packaging (colour, odour, viscosity, sedimentation), so that you can be sure that the packaging continues to fully meet the requirements of your product over time.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially in your own home production or for internal testing of formulas. However, before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to minimize the risk of microbial contamination or residues of the previous formulation. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for technical sanitation, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, which are available on Handymade specifically for this purpose.
After emptying the packaging, we recommend removing any product residues as well as possible mechanically, then rinsing with a suitable soapy solution and clean water. After drying, it is advisable to treat the inner walls and the dosing mechanism with disinfectant alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % ethanol. After the alcohol has evaporated and complete drying, the medicine bottle can be refilled. Always pay attention to a clean working environment and the use of suitable tools (e.g. pipettes, funnels) intended for cosmetic production.
When deciding between repeated use and recycling, it is advisable first to empty the packaging completely and remove any product residues. Then follow the recycling symbol and material designation indicated in the product parameters on Handymade. According to this designation, you will place the packaging in the corresponding fraction of sorted waste (e.g. plastic). If the local system allows it, we recommend separating the dispenser and the bottle in the case of different materials. In this way, you ensure that the material from the packaging can be recovered as efficiently as possible in the recycling process.
The easiest way is to use the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. With it, you can clearly filter suitable bottles, medicine bottles, jars or other containers according to important parameters – especially according to the type and size of the neck, the overall size/volume of the packaging, the colour design and the material used. By combining these filters, you will quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that best matches the character of your product, the required dosing and the visual style of the brand.
