The plastic bottle with disc-top closure is a practical packaging solution suitable for a wide range of liquid and lightly viscous products. It allows convenient and controlled dispensing, making it ideal for cosmetics, home-made formulations and artisan-produced products. The dark version helps to reduce light exposure of the contents, which is advantageous for light-sensitive products.
The packaging is designed to be easy to fill, close and reuse in both small and larger production runs. The disc-top closure allows opening and closing with one hand, which increases user comfort during everyday application.
The standalone bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems, according to the selected parameters in the packaging materials category. It can be combined, for example, with screw caps, dropper caps, spray heads or practical applicators that complement the functionality of the packaging according to the nature of the filled formulation.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – especially from the point of view of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.

If the packaging is made of PET material, you need to take into account that it is not suitable for exposure to high temperatures, as there is a risk of deformation. Such packaging is not suitable for dishwasher cleaning or boiling; gentle hand cleaning at lower temperatures and appropriate disinfection is recommended.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters. By placing it in the correct recycling stream, you support efficient material processing in accordance with local waste sorting rules.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with an appropriate agent – for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96% denatured. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the safe use of your products.
First rinse the bottle with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent to remove residues of the previous content. Then let it drain thoroughly and dry. Before refilling, we recommend disinfecting the inner walls of the packaging as well as the closure – suitable, for example, are alcohol-based agents such as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the alcohol to evaporate and only then fill the packaging.
Plastic packaging made of PET material is not intended for exposure to high temperatures. In contact with hot water, steam or during boiling, the bottle may deform and the sealing properties of the closure may deteriorate. This packaging is also not suitable for dishwasher cleaning. Gentle hand cleaning with lukewarm water and disinfection with alcohol is recommended, as it does not require high temperatures and is gentle on the material.
Before recycling, empty the bottle and rinse it to remove product residues. Then place it in the sorted waste stream according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters and marked with the recycling symbol on the packaging. In practice, plastic packaging is placed in the yellow container for plastics, and it is advisable to separate the bottle and the closure if they are made of different materials. By following local waste sorting rules, you support efficient recycling of the material.

This allows you to quickly find bottles, jars or other containers that match the selected dosing method, design and the intended use of your product.
The disc-top closure is ideal for liquid to slightly viscous products that require dosing in small quantities. In practice it is used for shampoos, conditioners, body and face emulsions, cleansing gels, body and massage oils and various hygiene products. It allows easy opening and closing with one hand and reduces the risk of accidental leakage of the contents during normal handling and transport.
