Product description

Plastic pill jar with black closure and induction liner is a practical packaging material designed for the safe storage of tablets, capsules and fine free-flowing mixtures. Thanks to the high-quality plastic body and the closure with induction liner, it helps protect the contents from external influences and unwanted moisture. The reclosable pill bottle is suitable for manufacturers of food supplements, small food products in solid form, as well as cosmetic or technical microgranulates, where reliable product protection and dosing convenience are important.

Possible uses

  • packaging for tablets, capsules and small pills in home or artisan production
  • jar for powdered or granulated food supplements, vitamin and mineral blends
  • practical pill bottle for herbal tablets, dried extracts in tablet form and effervescent tablets
  • packaging for small cosmetic capsules, microgranules, exfoliating beads or dry mask tablets
  • container for technical granules, laboratory tableted reagents or test samples in solid form

Advantages of the packaging

  • Stable plastic material with good mechanical resistance, suitable for standard handling, storage and transport.
  • Induction liner in the closure makes it possible, after sealing, to create an additional barrier that reduces moisture ingress and supports the integrity of the contents.
  • Secure and precise screwing of the black cap minimizes the risk of unintentional opening and spilling of tablets.
  • The compact pill bottle is suitable for laboratory, artisan and small production batches, where the combination of product protection and an aesthetic appearance is important.
  • The smooth surface of the jar allows easy labelling and branding according to the needs of the specific project.

Combining with closures and dispensers

The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Technical parameters

All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this plastic jar also suitable for packaging food supplements in tablet form?

The jar is designed as packaging for tablets and capsules, so it is also suitable for various types of food supplements in solid form. For each product, however, it is necessary to verify the composition of your formulation and check its compatibility with the plastic used. We recommend producing a trial batch and monitoring the stability of the tablets during longer-term storage under the selected conditions.

Can the packaging be reused for refilling with tablets or powders?

The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the jar and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 %) or plant-based ethanol (Ethanol 96 %). Allow the disinfectant solution to evaporate so that the inner surface of the packaging remains dry before refilling.

How should I handle the plastic packaging during cleaning to avoid damaging it?

During cleaning we recommend using lukewarm water and mild cleaning agents that are suitable for contact with the given type of plastic. Avoid aggressive chemicals and rough sponges that could scratch the surface. After washing, allow the packaging to air-dry and only then carry out disinfection. Unless stated otherwise in the product parameters, do not wash the packaging in a dishwasher and do not expose it to high temperatures to prevent deformation or weakening of the material.

How can I dispose of or recycle this jar in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer wish to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic specified in the parameter table for the product. Before placing it in sorted waste, remove any remaining contents and, if possible, rinse the packaging. Then place it in the appropriate container according to the recycling symbol in the parameters (e.g. plastics collection). In this way you support the reprocessing of the material and reduce the amount of municipal waste.

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the relevant packaging category. After clicking on the category (for example bottles, jars or pill bottles), you will find the advanced filter at the top of the page. Using it, you can clearly select parameters such as neck type, pack size, colour and material. This enables you to quickly find packaging that matches your formulation and the desired appearance of the final product.
