Is this plastic bottle suitable for thicker creams or pastes?

This bottle is most suitable for liquid and lighter gel formulations that can be easily poured or dosed through the selected closure or dispenser. For thicker creams, balms and pastes, we recommend jars or pots of appropriate size and neck opening, so that application of the product is comfortable and hygienic.

Can I use this bottle repeatedly?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially if it is intended for your own formulations or test series. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extend the stability of your products.

How should I properly clean this plastic bottle before further use?

First rinse the bottle to remove product residues, then wash it with a suitable cleaning agent (for example a mild detergent), rinse thoroughly with drinking water and let it drain. After mechanical cleaning, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface and the neck with an alcoholic solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Do not use extremely hot water during cleaning, as it could put excessive stress on the plastic.

How can I dispose of or recycle this bottle in an environmentally friendly way if I do not want to continue using it?

If you decide not to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters and the recycling symbol on the packaging. Before placing it in sorted waste, remove product residues and, if possible, also labels, in order to facilitate the processing procedure. Then throw the bottle into the appropriate container for plastic waste. Respect local waste sorting rules in your municipality or city.
