Plastic bottle with silver flip-top closure represents a practical and reliable solution for packaging liquid and gel formulations in cosmetics as well as in home production. The packaging is designed to allow comfortable dispensing of the contents while protecting the product from contamination during normal use.
The opaque design helps to minimise light exposure to more sensitive components, which supports the stability and longer shelf life of many cosmetic products. The integrated flip-top closure enables quick one-handed opening and controlled dispensing without the need to unscrew the cap, which is ideal for everyday use.
This bottle is supplied in combination with a flip-top closure, which ensures simple and fast use without the need for additional components. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the packaging is suitable for your particular product.

If you decide not to use the packaging further, it is advisable to recycle it according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters. Follow the recycling symbol and waste-sorting rules in your locality so that the material is properly processed in the relevant collection system.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed, especially for your own home cosmetic production. However, before each new filling it is necessary to clean and disinfect the bottle thoroughly in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination or product spoilage. For disinfection, we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in our range as the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After treatment, allow the packaging to dry well and only then refill it.
Before further use, we recommend first rinsing the bottle to remove residues of the original product, then washing it with a suitable cleaning agent and warm water, avoiding extremely high temperatures that could damage the packaging. After washing, the packaging must be disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation (e.g. the products available on the pages IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný) and left to dry completely at room temperature. Before refilling, make sure that no cleaning agent or water remains inside, as these could affect the stability of the new fill.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is advisable to place it in sorted waste collection according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters and on the recycling symbol on the packaging itself. Before placing it in sorted waste, we recommend rinsing the bottle to remove product residues in order to facilitate subsequent processing. According to the material designation, put the packaging into the appropriate container for plastic, following the local waste-sorting rules in your municipality or city.
The flip-top closure allows comfortable dispensing not only of low-viscosity liquid products but also of slightly more viscous gels and emulsions, provided that their viscosity allows them to pass through the dispensing orifice. For very thick creams, it may be more practical to choose another type of packaging, such as a jar or a tube. We therefore recommend testing a small amount to see how your specific formulation behaves when dispensed through this closure and adjusting your choice of packaging according to the result.
