The plastic medicine bottle with cream dispenser is a practical packaging intended for precise and hygienic dispensing of creamy, gel-like and semi-liquid preparations. Thanks to the integrated dispenser and compact shape, it is suitable for home-made formulations as well as smaller professional batches. The rigid plastic container protects the contents from excessive contact with air and impurities, which is important for carefully formulated cosmetic and dermato-cosmetic products.
This type of bottle with pump is designed to keep the product’s consistency stable during use and to minimise the risk of contamination with frequent opening. Thanks to practical dosing in smaller amounts, it is ideal for products where application accuracy, comfort in use and cleanliness of dispensing are important.
This product represents a ready-made combination of bottle and dispensing mechanism, designed specifically for simple and reliable use. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to verify that the packaging also functions reliably with your specific product.

There you will find detailed information on the material, dimensions, recommended mode of use and any limitations that are important to take into account when designing the final product.
The dispensing medicine bottle is designed primarily for creamy and gel-like textures with the usual viscosity of cosmetic creams. For optimal functionality, we recommend trying a small test filling with your specific formulation to verify smooth dispensing and the return of the pump after pressing. With extremely thick balms, application may be more demanding.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the medicine bottle including the dispensing mechanism. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in the range as IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96 % denatured (the products are available in the raw materials category). After applying the disinfectant, let the packaging dry completely and only then refill it.
For cleaning we recommend first rinsing the packaging as much as possible with lukewarm water and a mild detergent suitable for contact with cosmetics, then rinsing it several times with clean water. It is advisable to rinse the dispensing mechanism by pressing the pump in water to remove residues of the original product. After washing, you can disinfect the internal surfaces with alcohol and let them dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid aggressive chemicals and mechanical force on the moving parts of the pump.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, to place it in sorted waste according to the type of material stated in the product parameters for this packaging. Usually this means putting the plastic packaging into the container intended for plastics, while it is advisable to separate the individual parts (bottle body, pump, any cap) if they are made of different materials. Local recycling rules may differ, so also follow the recommendations of your collection yard or municipal service provider.

Thanks to this, you can easily select bottles, medicine bottles or jars that will best match your formulation, the required dosing and the visual style of the final product.
