The white plastic screw cap is a universal closure designed for the safe and hygienic closure of packages with a compatible neck. The screw capping principle is suitable for packaging liquid products where reliable tightness, clean handling and protection of the contents during storage and transfer are important. The lid is both cosmetic and food grade, making it possible to use it in a wide range of products.

Applications

Cosmetic products: skin and body solutions, tonics, hydrolates, micellar waters, shampoos, shower gels, liquid soaps
Extracts, oils, aromatic blends: macerates, oil blends, aromatic solutions for dispensing from bottles (self compatibility test recommended)
Food use: liquid nutritional supplements, tinctures, syrups, concentrates and extracts intended for internal use - after compatibility testing of the whole kit

PP (polypropylene) material is a lightweight, strong and stable plastic suitable for packaging solutions.
The stability of the material under normal conditions of storage and use supports the long-term functionality of the closure.

Neutral material behaviour - does not affect the sensory properties of cosmetic or food products when used as intended.

Combination with caps and dispensers

Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behavior in contact with the specific formulation).

Is this lid suitable for use with cosmetics?

Yes, the cap is cosmetic grade and is designed for use with cosmetic products under normal conditions of use.

Can I use the lid with food products?

Yes, the lid is food grade and suitable for direct contact with food. For a specific product, we recommend checking the compatibility of the entire bottle + cap combination.

Can the lid be reused?

Yes, the cap can be reused as long as hygiene principles are observed. Before each refill, the cap must be cleaned and disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002), for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol.

How do I safely dispose of and recycle the lid if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the lid, we recommend recycling it. As it is a PP plastic material, it belongs in the sorted plastics collection in accordance with local rules and your collection company's guidelines.
