The glass bottle is a universal and aesthetic container suitable for various cosmetic and laboratory formulations. Thanks to the durable glass, it is ideal for packaging liquid products that require stable and reliable storage without undesirable interactions with the packaging. The darker glass also helps protect the sensitive contents from light, which is especially important for products with natural extracts and oils.
This practical bottle is suitable for smaller volumes of preparations, test samples and concentrated blends. Thanks to its compatibility with several types of closures and dispensing components, it can provide precise and comfortable dosing, which you will appreciate for both professional and hobby use. The glass packaging is stable, visually attractive and, with proper handling, also suitable for repeated use.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters for products on Handymade.sk. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure of reliably long-term use.
All technical parameters of the container are listed in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass container can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and an impact on product stability. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you will find in the range as IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, allow the container to dry thoroughly and only then fill it with new contents.
Before the first filling, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, carefully removing all residues of the cleaning agent and then disinfecting the container with an alcohol solution (for example with products available in the Handymade.sk range). After disinfection, allow the glass to dry at room temperature in a clean environment. Such a procedure is important for all containers intended for cosmetic and more sensitive formulations in order to avoid affecting the composition and stability of the product.
If you decide not to reuse the container, we recommend placing it in the waste collection stream according to the material specified in the product parameters. After emptying, remove any remaining contents from the glass bottle, optionally rinse it briefly and place it in the appropriate container for sorted glass collection. Plastic or metal closures should be recycled separately according to their material, if local recycling rules allow it. By following these principles, you will contribute to more efficient use of resources and to reducing the amount of waste.
The bottle is particularly suitable for concentrated liquid products such as facial and body oils, serums, active concentrates, aromatherapy blends or laboratory samples. Thanks to the possibility of combining it with various types of closures and dispensing systems, you can adapt it to your intention – from precise dripping to fine spraying. When choosing, we recommend taking into account the viscosity of the product and the desired mode of application, so that you select the most practical type of closure.
To choose a suitable container, we recommend using the extended filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the extended filter you can clearly set parameters according to your needs – for example the type and diameter of the neck, the size of the container, the colour and the material. This will allow you to quickly narrow down the range to containers that best match your product and its intended use. When choosing, it is also practical to think about the planned type of closure or dispenser, so that all components work together reliably.
We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry, clean and shaded place at a stable room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. The darker glass does reduce light penetration, but for sensitive formulations (especially those containing natural oils and extracts) it is also advisable to minimise temperature fluctuations. Always close the bottle tightly to prevent the evaporation of volatile components and possible contamination of the contents.
