Glass bottle with dropper is a practical and aesthetic packaging intended for precise dosing of liquid preparations where control over the amount of product applied is important. Thanks to the high-quality glass and dropper, it is suitable for filling formulations that require purity, stability and convenient use even with smaller volumes. The dark glass helps protect sensitive ingredients from external influences, which contributes to longer shelf life and stability of the contents.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with appropriate handling, provided that basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned, freed from residues of the original product and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After thorough drying, the bottle is ready for a new filling.
For routine cleaning we recommend first rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent that is suitable for contact with cosmetics. It must then be thoroughly rinsed with clean water so that no detergent residues remain in it. After mechanical cleaning, it is advisable to carry out disinfection with alcohol and allow the bottle and the dropper to dry completely at room temperature upside down. Packaging prepared in this way minimises the risk of microbial contamination during subsequent use.
Glass packaging is generally a suitable choice for formulations containing essential oils and active ingredients, because glass is a stable material that usually does not react with the contents. The dark glass also helps reduce the influence of light, which is often desirable for such formulations. For highly concentrated or atypical blends, however, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – fill a smaller amount of product, monitor any changes in appearance, scent or properties and verify that the dropper and sealing remain fully functional.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it into sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle is usually thrown into the container designated for glass, while the components of the dropper (plastic, rubber, possibly metal) should be separated and sorted according to local recycling rules. Before handing it over for collection, it is advisable to rinse the packaging to remove product residues so that other waste and recyclable material are not contaminated.
To make selection easier, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can adjust the display of products according to several parameters – for example according to neck type, size, colour or material. By combining these options, you will quickly narrow down the range to the packaging that best suits your specific product and its method of use.
