Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with an appropriate product, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the packaging is completely dry is it suitable to proceed with filling a new product.
Before reuse, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle with warm water and an appropriate cleaning agent, rinsing it thoroughly, allowing it to drain and dry. It is then advisable to use an alcohol-based disinfectant, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, while ensuring that no residues of the cleaning agent or alcohol remain in the packaging before filling. Packaging prepared in this way is suitable for refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that after emptying and basic rinsing you place it into sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part can generally be sorted into the glass collection container, while the aluminum cap is usually sorted as metal waste, if the local waste collection system allows it. Before placing it into sorted waste, remove any remaining contents and labels according to local recommendations so that recycling is as effective as possible.
The bottle is particularly suitable for various cosmetic formulations – oil serums, facial and body oils, hair oils, light solutions, toners, as well as perfume and aromatic compositions. Thanks to the properties of glass, the packaging can be used for products on an oil or water basis, or with alcohol content, provided that the information from the Packaging Quality Certificate and the product parameters is taken into account. For very specific or more aggressive formulations, we recommend carrying out an individual compatibility test.
