The glass bottle represents a professional solution for packaging liquid formulations that place emphasis on stability, purity and long-term protection of the contents. Thanks to the glass used, this medicine bottle is suitable for cosmetic preparations, pharmaceutical solutions and artisan production, where resistance, easy handling and a representative appearance of the final product are important.
Smooth walls and a precisely shaped container make filling, labelling and inspection of the contents easier. The high-quality glass material supports the stability of formulations, minimises interactions with the contents and is suitable for a wide range of liquid and less viscous products that require reliable closure and safe distribution.
This glass bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems, such as screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators – according to the parameters selected in the product details. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
To choose a suitable bottle or other packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected category (for example bottles, jars or dispensers). In the advanced filter you can sort the packaging according to neck type, size, colour and material, which makes it easy to find packaging adapted to the specific product and method of dosing.
Yes, the glass packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Packaging prepared in this way supports the stability of the new batch and reduces the risk of microbial contamination.
Before first use we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and allowing it to dry completely. It is then suitable to disinfect the inner surface with alcohol (IPA or ethanol), which you leave to evaporate after application. This procedure is particularly important when manufacturing sensitive products such as facial serums, active concentrates or products with a lower content of preservatives.
When choosing a closure, it is important to match the neck type of the bottle with the type of closure and the desired method of application. For thin solutions and serums, droppers or pipettes are suitable; for spray products, spray pumps; and for oils or simple solutions, screw caps. Even though the combinations of packaging and closures on Handymade are tested, we recommend always performing your own test of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the specific formulation in contact with the given type of closure.
Thanks to its dimensions and material stability, the glass bottle is very suitable for filling trial, development and presentation samples. It enables convenient dosing, easy labelling and visual inspection of the product. When testing new formulations, we recommend monitoring compatibility with the closure, cleanliness of dosing and the long-term behaviour of the formulation during storage.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it responsibly. After emptying and basic rinsing, place the glass packaging in the container intended for glass according to local waste-sorting rules. The closure, which is usually made from a different material than the body of the packaging, should be sorted separately according to the marking on the product or in the parameters of the specific closure. Such a procedure reduces the burden on the environment and supports the reuse of raw materials.
