Product description

The plastic bottle made from high‑quality material represents a practical and reliable packaging for various liquid and gel formulations. It is designed to ensure safe dosing, easy handling and a professional appearance of the final product, whether it is cosmetics, laboratory solutions or homemade mixtures. Thanks to the suitably selected plastic material, the bottle is lightweight, resistant to normal mechanical stress and ideal for everyday use in home as well as small‑scale craft production.

Possible uses

  • liquid cosmetic products – toners, facial waters, cleansing solutions, hair care cosmetics and body care preparations
  • gel and semi‑liquid preparations – serums, emulsions, fluids, light creams and treatment solutions
  • extracts and aromatic mixtures – hydrolates, herbal macerates, aromatherapy blends for external use
  • technical and auxiliary solutions for home hobbies and DIY projects (cleaning and working solutions, auxiliary liquids)
  • laboratory and test samples – smaller batches for testing formulas, stability or changes in scent/colour

Advantages of the packaging

  • Material stability – the quality plastic is engineered for common cosmetic and technical formulations and, when used correctly, retains its shape and strength over the long term.
  • Protection of the contents – the rigid wall of the bottle protects the filling against external contamination and, when combined with a suitable closure or dispenser, allows for reliable sealing.
  • Low weight – the packaging is light, suitable for parcel shipping, travel sizes as well as everyday use in the bathroom or beauty salon.
  • Universal use – suitable for a wide range of cosmetic and technical products, from toners and sprays to practical working solutions.
  • Aesthetic and professional appearance – the clean lines of the bottle make labelling easier and help visually unify the entire product range.
  • Practical maintenance – the packaging can be reused with proper care; however, it is necessary to follow the recommendations for cleaning, disinfection and recycling.
  • Important note regarding PET material – if the bottle is made of PET, it should not be exposed to high temperatures; excessive heating poses a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of its functionality. PET packaging is not intended for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling.

Combining with closures and dispensers

  • Plastic bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems, for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators, depending on the parameters selected at the time of purchase.
  • Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional, in order to ensure reliable sealing and comfortable use.
  • For all combinations, however, we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – check the tightness, the dosing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
  • Before final filling of a larger batch, it is advisable to carry out a trial filling, a short‑term stress test (transport, storage) and visually monitor the packaging and the closure.

Technical parameters

  • All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
  • In the parameter table you will find information about the type of material, compatibility with the contents and recommendations for safe use.
  • The recycling symbol and the recommended method of disposal of the packaging are governed by the material stated in the product parameters – according to this, select the appropriate sorting container or collection yard.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be reused with a suitable type of filling and careful handling, but it is always essential to observe basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, we recommend washing the bottle thoroughly, rinsing it and then disinfecting it with an alcohol‑based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Only after it has completely dried and aired is the bottle ready for further use. For PET material, make sure not to expose the packaging to high temperatures, do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher, to prevent deformation.

How should I properly clean and disinfect this plastic bottle before further use?

For repeated use, it is important first to clean the packaging mechanically – rinse it with lukewarm water and a small amount of mild detergent suitable for contact surfaces, rinse thoroughly and allow it to drain. We then recommend spraying or rinsing the inner walls and neck with disinfectant alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based, and allowing it to dry completely. For plastics, especially PET, do not use boiling or a dishwasher cycle, to avoid damaging or deforming the packaging.

How should I correctly recycle the plastic packaging if I no longer wish to use it?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend prioritising recycling. The recycling procedure is determined by the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters (e.g. marking PET, HDPE, etc.). According to this marking, empty the packaging, wipe off any remaining contents with paper if necessary, separate any different materials (labels, metal parts of the closure) and place it in the appropriate sorting container for plastics or take it to a collection yard according to local regulations. The recycling recommendations are based on the material composition given in the parameter table of the specific packaging.

Is this bottle suitable for hot or heat‑treated fillings?

Plastic packaging, especially made from PET material, is not intended for filling with hot or freshly heat‑treated mixtures. High temperature can lead to deformation of the walls, reduced strength and may affect the sealing of the closure. We recommend filling only contents that have cooled to room temperature. Do not boil the bottle and do not wash it in a dishwasher, so that it is not damaged. When planning the formulation, always take into account the material recommendations stated in the product parameters.

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

To select a suitable bottle, dropper bottle or jar, you can use the advanced filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the relevant category, a filtering panel will appear at the top of the page, where you can sort products according to parameters such as neck, size, colour and material. In this way you can quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that will best match your specific formulation and visual requirements. In case of doubt, it is worth comparing several packages and checking their compatibility with the available closures and dispensers.
