PET plastic bottle with a matte cap represents a practical and professional packaging for carefully prepared liquid formulations. Thanks to the transparent plastic, you have a good overview of the amount of product, and the high-quality screw cap helps protect the contents from unwanted leakage or contamination. PET material is light, strong and suitable for packaging a wide range of cosmetic and technical preparations that require safe storage and convenient handling during dispensing.
The standalone PET plastic bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the selected parameters. Depending on your formulation, you can choose practical solutions such as screw caps, droppers, sprayers or various applicators that allow more precise and more hygienic application of the product.
Combinations of packaging and caps that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing comfort and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after thorough drying is the bottle ready for reuse.
It is not advisable to expose PET material to high temperatures, therefore washing in a dishwasher or boiling is not recommended. When exposed to high temperatures, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of its mechanical properties. For cleaning, we recommend hand washing in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, followed by rinsing and disinfection with alcohol before the next filling.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. According to the material listed in the product parameters, the body of the packaging usually belongs in the container designated for plastic waste. Before recycling, empty the contents, rinse the packaging basically, and if possible, separate the cap from the body of the bottle so that the individual parts can be processed in the appropriate recycling streams.
The bottle is particularly suitable for liquid and low-viscosity products such as toners, facial waters, hydrolats, hair lotions, light emulsions, water-based serums and various working solutions for cosmetic and technical use. Before final deployment, we recommend testing the compatibility of the specific formulation with the PET material and with the chosen type of cap or dispenser, especially for products with a higher content of alcohol or solvents.
