The plastic bottle with disc-top cap represents a practical solution for dispensing various liquid preparations where control of the amount and convenient one-handed use are important. Thanks to the combination of a high-quality plastic body and a functional disc-top closure, this packaging is suitable for filling cosmetic formulations, hygiene preparations and other liquid products that require clean, quick and precise application. The bottle is designed to minimise unintended leakage when used correctly and to ensure practical handling for home cosmetics as well as small-scale artisanal production.
This bottle with disc-top closure forms a ready-made and functional combination of packaging and closing component. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure your specific product is fully compatible with the given packaging in both short-term and long-term use.
Since this is plastic packaging, it is advisable when designing the formula to consider compatibility with the solvents, oils and active substances used and to verify that no changes of the surface, softening or undesirable influence on the fragrance and colour of the product occur.

In this documentation you will find detailed information about the material used, recommended areas of application, possible contact with different types of fills and other data important for safe and functional use of the bottle in practice.
If the packaging is made of PET material, it is necessary to take into account the specifics of this plastic – PET is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. In the case of excessive thermal load there is a risk of deformation of the packaging, impairment of the closure function or change in the appearance of the surface. Such packaging is therefore not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling; gentle cleaning at lower temperatures and the use of appropriate disinfectants are recommended.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if proper care is taken and hygiene rules are observed, especially within your own home production or small-scale artisanal manufacturing. Before each refilling it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and product spoilage. For disinfection we recommend using high-quality alcohol solutions, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable, while it is important to follow the recommended working procedure and allow the packaging to dry completely. At the same time, for plastic packaging it is advisable to avoid unnecessarily high temperatures in order to maintain dimensional stability and closure functionality.
When cleaning the plastic bottle we recommend proceeding gently, without exposing the material to high temperatures. First remove any residues of the original product, rinse the packaging with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, and then rinse thoroughly with clean water. It is then advisable to carry out disinfection using an alcohol solution, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. Allow the disinfectant solution to act for a short time, then pour it out completely and leave the bottle to air dry at room temperature until it is completely dry. The packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling, in order to avoid deformation.
We recommend storing the bottle in a dry, clean and well-ventilated environment, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources. Long-term exposure to high temperatures or intense UV radiation can adversely affect the properties of the plastic and the appearance of the cap, and may reduce the sealing capacity of the disc-top mechanism. The packaging should be kept in a closed state so that dust and dirt do not enter the interior before filling. When storing filled bottles it is important to follow the recommendations for the specific fill and not to leave them for long periods in an environment with extreme temperature fluctuations.
If you decide not to use the bottle repeatedly, it is recommended to choose environmentally friendly disposal in the form of recycling according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in sorted waste it is advisable to empty the packaging, remove any product residues, possibly rinse it briefly and separate the cap if it is made from a different type of material than the bottle body. Then place the bottle into the appropriate container for sorted waste according to local recycling rules (for example into the container intended for plastic packaging). The specific recycling symbol and the recommended sorting method can be found in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website; following this helps to make processing and reuse of the material more efficient.
