Plastic bottle with disc-top closure represents a practical and reliable packaging solution for a wide range of liquid cosmetic preparations and other formulations where convenient and controlled dosing is important. Thanks to the high-quality plastic material and functional closure, the bottle is suitable for professional and home use, from small-scale production to test and travel sizes. The packaging design is engineered to allow hygienic application and good protection of the contents during normal storage and use.
This product represents a ready-made combination of bottle and disc-top closure, designed for direct use without the need for additional components. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) in order to verify the behaviour of the product during long-term storage as well as during normal use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused provided it is handled correctly and not damaged. However, with every refilling it is essential to follow basic hygiene rules – thoroughly clean the bottle and closure and disinfect them before re-use. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-derived ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Disinfection helps minimise microbial risks and prolong the stability of the stored product.
Before further use we recommend dismantling the packaging (separating the bottle and the closure), thoroughly rinsing it with a suitable washing agent, rinsing several times with clean water and then allowing it to dry completely. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the internal surfaces with an alcohol solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured. PET or other similar plastic material is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures, therefore do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher in order to avoid deformation or weakening of the packaging.
Plastic bottles made from materials commonly used for cosmetic packaging are not intended for filling with hot or freshly cooked products. Exposure to high temperatures can lead to softening, deformation or deterioration of the mechanical stability of the packaging, which may also affect the tightness of the closure. We recommend filling only products that have been cooled to room temperature, and when developing a new formulation always carrying out a compatibility test between the contents and the packaging.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend first emptying it as much as possible and removing product residues. Then it is advisable to rinse the bottle and closure to minimise the amount of residual substances. Allocation to the correct sorting container needs to be adjusted according to the information on the material given in the product parameters (for example according to the recycling symbol and material abbreviation). On this basis, place the packaging in the appropriate container for sorted waste. Local recommendations for recycling may differ, therefore also follow the rules of the waste collection company in your region. In this way you will support reuse of the material and reduction of waste.
For quick and accurate searching of a suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter available at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. In the advanced filter it is possible to combine several criteria at once – for example type and neck diameter, required size, colour or specific packaging material. In this way you narrow down the selection only to those bottles, vials, jars or other containers that meet your technical and design requirements. We recommend always checking the details in the product parameters and in the quality certificate so that the chosen packaging is suitable for your specific type of formulation.
