Yes, the glass packaging can be reused if handled carefully, provided that strict hygiene rules are followed. Before each refilling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with an appropriate agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use products available on Handymade, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after it has completely dried is the packaging ready for another safe filling.

The bottle is ideal mainly for concentrated cosmetic preparations that are applied in smaller amounts – for example facial and eye serums, oil elixirs, intensive treatment courses or aromatherapeutic blends intended for external use. Thanks to the possibility of combining it with droppers, pipettes or other dispensers, it is suitable wherever you need precise, hygienic and controlled dosing of a smaller product volume.

First remove the residues of the original product by rinsing with a suitable medium (for example warm water with a mild detergent that is compatible with the original formulation). Then rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all residues of the cleaning agent. After emptying and basic cleaning, the glass container is normally placed in the glass recycling bin, while any plastic or metal parts of the closure should be separated and sorted according to local recycling rules. Before placing it in sorted collection, it is advisable to remove coarse product residues from the packaging to facilitate its processing in the recycling system.
