The glass bottle with spray dispenser represents a professional solution for dispensing finely misted liquids in cosmetics as well as in home production. Thanks to its high-quality design, the packaging is suitable for filling preparations where controlled application, protection of the composition and user comfort during everyday application are important.
This type of bottle is ideal for products that require even distribution on the face, body, hair or into the air. Glass is a stable, chemically resistant material that minimizes interaction with the contents, thereby helping to maintain the quality and properties of the filled product throughout its entire period of use.
This glass bottle is supplied with a spray dispenser and is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems within the same neck finish (for example screw caps, droppers, spray dispensers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Glass packaging is generally a suitable choice for formulations containing essential oils, because glass has good chemical resistance and does not bind with most aromatic components. However, we recommend always testing the specific formula in a small trial batch, monitoring the behaviour of the spray dispenser during long-term use and checking whether clogging or a change in spray intensity occurs.
The bottle can be reused provided that strict hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, mechanically rinsed to remove residues of the previous filling and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Only after the disinfectant has dried completely is the packaging ready for a new filling.
First, we recommend disassembling the bottle and the spray head into as many separate parts as possible. Rinse the glass container with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Then apply disinfection – for example by rinsing the inner space and spraying through the spray dispenser itself using an alcohol solution. After the alcohol has completely evaporated, the packaging is ready for a new product. When changing the type of formulation (e.g. from an oil-based to a water-based one), it is advisable to perform a test of the spray performance.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations based on the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be placed, after emptying and basic rinsing, into the appropriate glass container, while the plastic and metal parts of the spray dispenser should be separated and classified as mixed waste or the relevant type of sorted waste according to local rules. Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to remove product residues from the packaging.
The most practical way is to use the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can quickly select a suitable combination according to neck type, packaging size, colour and material. In this way, you will only display those bottles, jars or pots that best match your formula and method of application.
