The glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging solution designed for safe and precise dosing of liquid cosmetic preparations, serums, oils or concentrated blends. The dark glass provides natural protection from light, helping to protect more sensitive formulations from degradation and extending their stability during storage and use. The integrated dropper with black closure allows controlled drop-by-drop dosing, which makes this bottle a popular choice for both home and professional formulations where accuracy, hygiene and repeatability of application are important.
The glass vial is suitable for most cosmetic preparations, including serums with a higher proportion of active substances, oil elixirs or aromatherapeutic blends. Glass is a stable material that generally does not react with the ingredients used, and the dark version also helps to protect the contents against undesirable effects of light. However, for particularly demanding formulations we recommend preparing a trial batch and monitoring the stability of the product in the selected packaging over a longer period.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example with technical alcohol IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Only after complete drying and evaporation of the alcohol is the packaging ready for refilling. From a hygiene perspective, it is not recommended to repeatedly fill the packaging with different types of products without thorough cleaning and disinfection.
Before reuse, we recommend first thoroughly rinsing any residues of the original product with a suitable cleaning agent (for example warm water with a mild detergent), then rinsing the bottle and dropper several times with clean water and allowing them to dry completely. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the packaging with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured. Allow the disinfectant solution to act, then let the packaging dry naturally so that the alcohol can evaporate completely, and only then refill the packaging.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the parameter table next to the product. The glass bottle can generally be placed in the appropriate glass container after removing any product residues and separate plastic parts. The plastic components of the dropper (cap, any seals) and rubber parts should be separated and sorted according to local plastic collection rules. When recycling, always follow local guidelines and the information in the parameters of the specific packaging on the Handymade website.
