The packaging can, under normal use, be used repeatedly, provided that you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% plant ethanol. After disinfection, let the inside of the container dry completely at room temperature. At the same time, it is important not to expose the packaging to high temperatures, not to boil it and not to wash it in a dishwasher, so that the PET material is not damaged and the sealing of the closure is not impaired.

For cleaning the PET container, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with lukewarm water and a mild, suitable cleaning agent, rinsing it thoroughly with clean water and removing all residues of the original filling. Then disinfect the inside and the bottle thread using an alcohol solution, for example the product IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol 1 l or Ethanol 96% denatured plant 1 l. Always allow the packaging to dry naturally at room temperature and do not expose it to high temperatures, do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher, so that deformation of the PET material does not occur.

The bottle is particularly suitable for liquid cosmetic preparations and auxiliary solutions – for example facial and body waters, moisturising sprays (in combination with a suitable sprayer), hair lotions, cleansing toners or various work concentrates used in cosmetic production. It is also useful for storing test batches, samples and semi-finished products. When filling, always check the compatibility of the packaging material with the specific formulation (alcohol content, presence of essential oils or surfactants) and avoid using it with products that require long-term exposure to high temperatures.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that you place it in sorted waste according to the material indicated in the product parameter table. For a PET bottle, this normally means sorting it with plastics – empty the container before disposal, optionally rinse it to remove product residues and remove any contents that could complicate the recycling process. Follow the local waste sorting rules in your municipality or city; in the case of a combination of several materials (for example a cap made of another plastic), proceed according to the recommendations of your collection system. By correct sorting, you support the reprocessing of the raw material and the reduction of the amount of waste.
