The plastic bottle is a practical container designed for the safe packaging of various liquid formulations, such as cosmetic products, hygiene solutions or auxiliary preparations for the household or workshop. Thanks to the reliable plastic material, the bottle is suitable for filling products that require a clean, robust and lightweight container with easy handling. The design of the container ensures convenient dispensing, good storability and the option to combine it with multiple types of closures according to the needs of your product.
Individual plastic bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected in the offer. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking the seal tightness, the smoothness of dispensing and the behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the container are specified in the attached Container Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the container can be reused when used appropriately; however, it is recommended to follow strict hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use products such as IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After thorough drying, the bottle is ready for the next filling, and we recommend keeping records of the number of reuse cycles within your internal standards.
After mechanical cleaning (rinsing with a suitable cleaning solution), we recommend applying disinfection with alcohol at a sufficient concentration. In practice, rinsing or spraying the inner surface using products such as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based has proved effective. After the alcohol has acted, we recommend allowing the bottle to dry completely at room temperature and only then refilling it, so as not to affect the stability and fragrance of the final product.
The plastic material should not be exposed to high temperatures. When washing in a dishwasher or boiling, there is a risk of deformation of the container, softening or deterioration of the tightness of the neck and thread. For these reasons, it is not recommended to boil the bottle or clean it in a dishwasher. Prefer gentle hand cleaning with lukewarm water and a cleaning agent, followed by disinfection with alcohol according to your hygiene standards.
If you decide not to use the container further, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. After emptying the contents, remove any product residues, separate any closure or pump, and place the individual parts into the appropriate separate-waste container, in accordance with local rules. In the product parameter sheet on the website you will find information about the material, which will help you assign the container to the correct recycling stream and thus reduce the overall environmental burden.
On Handymade.sk, when choosing a suitable container you can use the advanced filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter, you can quickly narrow down the offer according to parameters such as the neck (type and thread diameter), size, colour and material. Thanks to this, you can select a bottle, jar or pot that will meet the technical requirements of your product as well as your idea of the packaging design.
When filling, we recommend working at room temperature and not exposing the container unnecessarily to high temperatures, in order to preserve the shape and functionality of the bottle. Before filling, check the cleanliness of the container and closure, the tightness of the connection and the suitable viscosity of the product in relation to the chosen dispensing type. During storage, avoid long-term exposure to direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is also important to continuously perform visual checks to ensure that the closure seals correctly and that no signs of mechanical damage appear during handling.
