Glass vial with plastic spray pump represents a practical and hygienic solution for dispensing liquid preparations in the form of a fine mist. Thanks to the combination of durable glass and a functional plastic spray pump, this packaging is suitable for filling a wide range of products where precise, controlled and even application to the skin, hair or surface is important.
The glass body of the vial provides a stable environment for more sensitive formulations, while the plastic spray pump ensures convenient and repeatedly usable dispensing. The packaging is suitable for liquid products that require hygienic application without direct contact with the contents.
This product represents a ready-made combination of bottle and spray pump, which is designed as a functional unit for convenient dispensing of liquid preparations. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the selected packaging is ideal for your product in terms of stability as well as user comfort.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The spray pump is optimised for liquids with low to medium viscosity, such as toners, aqueous solutions, gentle body or hair sprays or light alcohol-based solutions. Thick emulsions and viscous oils may reduce the quality of spraying or completely prevent the proper function of the pump. We therefore recommend always carrying out a trial filling and testing the spraying with your specific formulation before filling the entire batch.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if proper hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the vial and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and aired out do we recommend refilling the vial, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable changes to the product.
You can clean the glass part of the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, then rinse thoroughly and leave to dry. Afterwards, we recommend disinfecting the packaging with alcohol (for example using the products IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 %) and again letting it dry completely. For the spray pump, it is appropriate to pump clean water several times and then a small amount of disinfectant alcohol through it, so that the internal channel part is also cleaned. Avoid the use of aggressive cleaners and strong mechanical stress, which could damage the delicate parts of the pump.
Before handing it over for recycling, we recommend completely emptying the packaging and removing any product residues. The glass part of the vial can, after separating the plastic spray pump, be placed in the container designated for glass, according to the locally applicable waste-sorting rules. The plastic spray pump usually belongs in sorted plastic waste, but in some regions it may be recommended to place it in mixed waste – therefore follow the local instructions of your waste collection company. By separating the materials (glass / plastic) you increase the efficiency of the recycling process.
To select the ideal packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging material category. In the filter you can easily narrow down the offer according to neck type, size, colour and material, or combine several criteria at once. Thanks to this, you will quickly find bottles, vials, jars, pumps or spray pumps that best match your formulation and the intended method of use.
