Plastic medicine bottle – brown represents a practical and reliable packaging for professional and artisan filling of liquid preparations where protection of the contents and easy dosing are important. The dark version helps protect more sensitive formulations from unwanted light, which is advantageous when packaging certain cosmetic and technical solutions. Thanks to the high‑quality plastic material, this small bottle is suitable for a range of viscous and thin preparations and performs well in both small and larger production batches.
The standalone plastic bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected at purchase. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation before starting full‑scale production.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene rules are observed and the material is suitable for the specific fill. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and then disinfecting it, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. After it has completely dried, the packaging can be refilled. In case of repeated use, always also check the condition of the thread and the closure sealing.
First empty the bottle and rinse it with a suitable medium (depending on the type of previous fill), then wash it with lukewarm water and a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. After washing, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface – products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based are practical options. Allow the packaging to dry completely at room temperature. When cleaning, avoid aggressive mechanical scrubbing so as not to scratch the inner surface.
The plastic material of the bottle is not intended for long‑term or repeated exposure to high temperatures. Under excessive thermal load, deformation of the packaging may occur, as well as an impact on shape stability and deterioration of the functionality of the thread or closure. For this reason, we do not recommend washing the packaging in a dishwasher or boiling it. For cleaning, prefer lukewarm water, a mild detergent and subsequent disinfection with a suitable alcoholic solution.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it as a priority according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameter table. After emptying and basic rinsing, the bottle belongs in the appropriate separate plastic collection in accordance with local rules. The closure and any sealing insert should be sorted according to their material, where technically possible. By sorting correctly, you support efficient use of the material in the recycling process and reduce the amount of waste.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. With it you can easily filter products according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material. By combining these filters, you can quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that best matches your product, the required dosing and your brand’s visual identity.
When filling, it is important that the temperature of the fill corresponds to the resistance of the plastic material and is not unnecessarily high. It is recommended to work at normal room temperatures and, after filling, to close the bottle carefully with a suitable closure or dispenser. When storing, avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures; dry, well‑ventilated areas are ideal. Before starting production, we recommend performing a trial filling and a short‑term stress test to verify the stability of the packaging with the specific formulation.
