The packaging can be used repeatedly if handled appropriately and if its mechanical integrity is maintained. For each new filling, however, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the medicine bottle and then disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. This procedure helps minimize the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the safe use of the packaging.

Before reuse, we recommend rinsing the packaging with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and a mild detergent, rinsing it thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. Afterwards, it is necessary to disinfect the inner surfaces and the contact parts of the closure – for example with alcohol-based preparations such as IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated is the packaging ready for a new filling.

The combination of a rigid plastic body and an aluminum top provides good mechanical protection of the contents during normal storage and carrying. For more sensitive formulas, we recommend paying attention to correct storage according to the nature of the product (protecting it from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures and humidity) and always performing your own stability test in the chosen combination of packaging and formula. For products with special requirements for barrier properties, it is advisable to verify also the long-term behavior of the contents in contact with the packaging material.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, placing it in sorted waste according to the type of material stated in the parameter table for the product. It is advisable to separate the plastic body and the metal top from each other before discarding, so that each component can be recycled in the appropriate collection stream (plastic / metal). In the case of residues of products containing oils or other substances, it is appropriate to proceed according to local rules for the disposal of cosmetic and chemical residues in order to minimize the impact on the environment.

When filling, we recommend working in the cleanest environment possible, using suitable tools (funnels, pipettes, measuring cylinders) and not overfilling the packaging above the recommended level, so that there is space left for safe closing. Before the actual filling, it is important that the medicine bottle is dry, clean and disinfected. During storage, it is advisable to protect the packaging from excessive heat, direct sun and mechanical damage. In this way you will support longer stability of the contents and of the packaging itself and minimize the risk of leakage or changes in the properties of the product.
