Glass bottle – medicine bottle with plastic spray pump represents a practical and professional solution for packaging liquid preparations that require fine and even spraying. It is suitable for filling various cosmetic, hygiene or auxiliary mixtures where precise and hygienic application without direct contact with the contents is important.
This type of packaging allows comfortable dispensing in the form of a fine mist, which makes it ideal for products intended for the face, body, hair or surface applications. The combination of a glass medicine bottle and a functional plastic spray pump helps ensure that the contents are well protected from external influences and at the same time offers users easy and repeatedly precise use.
This product forms a combination of glass bottle and spray pump. The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each refilling the bottle and spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the product. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, and allowing the packaging to dry completely before the next use.
It is advisable to first rinse the glass part with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinse thoroughly and then disinfect with a suitable alcohol solution. We recommend cleaning the plastic spray pump carefully – rinse with clean water, then spray through briefly with a disinfectant solution and allow to dry in an upright position. When cleaning the spray pump, avoid mechanical damage to the dip tube and spray head so that the dosing remains smooth and functional.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle can generally be sorted into a container intended for glass after removing residues of the contents and separating the plastic parts. The plastic spray pump (top part, dip tube and any safety elements) must be separated from the bottle and sorted according to the type of plastic, if local recycling rules allow this. Always follow the local collection system and the recommendations arising from the material composition listed in the product parameter table on the Handymade website.
A spray pump is particularly suitable for formulations where fine application in a thin layer or dispersion into the surroundings is desired. Typically, these include face and body sprays, toners, air fresheners, hair sprays, disinfectant solutions for hands or surfaces and various auxiliary application solutions. Thanks to the spraying, product consumption per application is reduced and user comfort is increased, since it is not necessary to spread the product or dose it in drops.
