The glass jar represents a high-quality and aesthetic packaging suitable especially for thicker cosmetic formulations, creams and balms. The dark glass helps to reduce the transmission of light, thereby contributing to better stability of light‑sensitive components and extending the usability of the contents. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging mechanically and subsequently disinfect it with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol) or plant‑based ethanol (Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based). This minimises the risk of microbial contamination of the new fill.

How should I properly clean the glass jar before filling?

It is recommended first to remove residues of the original product using warm water and a mild cleaning agent suitable for glass. Then allow the jar to dry thoroughly and, before the new filling, disinfect it with alcohol – for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. After the alcohol has evaporated, the jar is ready for use.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the jar, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material specified in the product parameters. Glass can generally be placed in the container intended for glass waste after removing any remaining contents and any decorations or labelling elements which do not belong in the glass.
