Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging mechanically, rinsing it and then disinfecting it with an appropriate product, for example with alcohol such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % denatured plant-based ethanol. Only after complete drying and evaporation of residual alcohol is the container ready for refilling.

Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and then disinfecting with an alcohol solution as needed. After rinsing with the disinfectant, allow the packaging to dry naturally in a clean environment. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and residue of impurities in contact with your product.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material designation given in the product parameters. After emptying and basic rinsing, direct the glass part of the bottle to the container intended for glass, while the plastic cap with safety feature will usually belong in the container for plastics (according to local recycling rules). Before disposal, it is advisable to remove any product residues from the packaging to facilitate recycling and reduce the environmental burden.

The bottle is particularly suitable for packaging liquid preparations that require reliable closure and more precise handling during dosing. These include, for example, facial and hair serums, oil blends, active solutions or concentrated cosmetic ingredients. However, we recommend always verifying suitability for the specific formulation (for example oily, partially viscous or containing alcohol) by your own test – checking the sealing during longer storage, when turning the packaging upside down and during handling under normal conditions.
