The glass pharmaceutical bottle with spray attachment is a professional packaging suitable for dispensing a fine mist when applying cosmetic solutions, aromatherapeutic blends or other liquids where precise and hygienic application directly from the container is important. Glass is a chemically stable packaging material which, when used correctly, does not disrupt the composition of the contents and helps maintain their quality throughout the entire period of use.
Thanks to the combination of a durable glass bottle and a practical sprayer, this packaging is suitable for formulations that require even application in a thin layer and minimisation of direct contact with the hands. Spray application reduces the risk of contamination of the contents and facilitates dosing even in everyday home or professional cosmetic routines.
Glass bottles with spray attachment are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters. Depending on the specific size and type of neck, it is possible to choose screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators in order to achieve the optimal dosing method for your product.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verify sealing, behaviour of the dosing mechanism and the reaction of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, essential oils, etc.).

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the spray mechanism and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcoholic preparation, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying and evaporation of the alcohol is it appropriate to refill the bottle with a new formulation.
This type of glass bottle is ideal for aqueous and hydroalcoholic solutions that are applied in the form of a fine spray – for example facial and body toners, air fresheners, interior and textile sprays, hair tonics or aromatherapeutic mists. For formulations with a higher proportion of oily components, it is important to test whether the sprayer maintains smooth and even dosing.
After the contents have been used up, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and leaving it to dry. It is then appropriate to disinfect the packaging, including the plastic parts of the spray, with an alcoholic solution, for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol, and to wait for complete evaporation of the alcohol before refilling. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination of the new product.

This allows you to quickly find the combination of packaging and closure that will best match the properties of your product and the desired dosing method.
Before final filling of the entire batch, we recommend preparing a test sample – fill the bottle with a small amount of product and leave it for a certain time in the conditions in which the product will actually be used. Observe the sealing, the functionality of the spray mechanism, stability of fragrance and colour, any sedimentation of ingredients or changes in viscosity. If no changes or problems with dosing appear, the packaging is probably suitable for your formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it after emptying and basic cleaning according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle can usually be placed in a container intended for glass, while the plastic and metal parts of the sprayer should be separated and sorted according to local waste sorting rules. Always follow the material labelling and recommendations in your region so that recycling is as effective as possible.
