The glass vial with glossy dispenser represents a professional packaging suitable for dispensing cosmetic and medicinal preparations where precise and hygienic application is required. The dark glass helps protect sensitive components from undesirable light, thus contributing to longer stability and quality of the contents. In combination with the practical dispenser, the packaging is ideal for liquid and lightly viscous formulations that require a controlled amount with each press.
This glass bottle is supplied in combination with a practical dispenser that is adapted to its neck and the type of contents. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure that the dispensing system is suitable for the viscosity and surface tension of your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
When choosing a suitable bottle or vial, we recommend using the extended filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the selected category, you will find the extended filter at the top of the page, where you can sort products by parameters such as neck, size, colour and material. Thanks to this, you will quickly select a packaging that will match your formulation and desired visual appearance.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if correct hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle and the dispenser in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and maintain product stability. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol available in the Handymade offer, always according to the recommendations for the specific type of contents.
Before repeated use, it is advisable to disassemble the bottle, remove residues of the original contents and thoroughly wash the glass part with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent. After washing, let all parts dry completely. Afterwards, the packaging must be disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or high-concentration ethanol, which are available in the Handymade offer. We recommend disinfecting the dispensing mechanism gently so as not to damage the seals. Always follow the nature of your formulation and the required hygiene level.
The dispenser is most suitable for liquid to lightly viscous preparations, such as serums, emulsions with lower viscosity, facial oils or solutions with a lower content of gelling agents. With very thick or strongly gel-like formulations, the pump functionality may be reduced, which is why we always recommend performing a trial filling and a practical dosing test. If necessary, choose another type of packaging or dispensing system that better matches the product consistency.
We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry, clean and shaded place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. The stability of the contents is also supported by minimising frequent opening or disassembling of the dispensing system. For more sensitive active ingredients, it is advisable to follow the recommendations of the formulator or raw material supplier and adjust the storage temperature and duration accordingly. Always use a well-closed dispenser to limit access of air and impurities.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types listed in the product parameters. It is advisable to remove any product residues from the glass part and place it in the container designated for glass, while the plastic and metal components of the dispenser must be sorted according to local waste management rules. Before handing over to sorted waste collection, check which materials the individual parts are made of and follow the recommendations in your municipality. In this way, you will reduce environmental burden and support responsible handling of packaging material.
