The glass dropper bottle represents a professional packaging solution for precise dosing of liquid preparations where control of every single drop is important. The dark glass helps protect sensitive components from the effects of light and supports longer stability of the contents, which is especially ideal for products prone to degradation.
Thanks to the integrated dropper pipette, this bottle is suitable for packaging preparations with low to medium viscosity, from facial serums to concentrated extracts. The packaging combines an aesthetic appearance with functionality and is designed to support professional and hygienic dosing for both home and artisan production.
This glass bottle with dropper is supplied as a functional combination of container and closure, designed for precise dosing and safe sealing of the contents. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure the solution fully meets the requirements of your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
We recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. It allows you to quickly filter by parameters such as neck, size, colour and material. This narrows the selection down to only those containers that best match the needs of your specific product and the desired design.
Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using a suitable alcohol such as isopropyl alcohol available on the page IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and ensures safe use for the next filling.
We recommend first rinsing the glass container mechanically with a suitable cleaning agent or warm water with detergent, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inner space and contact parts with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. For the dropper, it is important to pay attention to the rubber part and the glass or plastic pipette so that no residues of the previous contents remain.
The dropper is ideal for liquids with low to medium viscosity, such as facial oils, serums or thin extracts. For very thick oils, gel-like consistencies or balms, dosing through the dropper may be limited and less convenient. In such cases we recommend considering another type of packaging, for example a bottle with pump or a suitable jar, which better corresponds to the consistency of the product.
We recommend storing the filled bottle well closed, in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Although dark glass limits light penetration, for maximum stability of sensitive components it is advisable to keep the product in a cupboard or drawer. For products with a higher content of volatile components, it is important to regularly check the seal of the closure to minimise losses due to evaporation.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules, according to the materials specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can generally be handed over to glass collection after emptying and basic rinsing. The closure and dropper, which may contain a combination of plastic, metal and possibly rubber, should be separated according to the type of material or placed in mixed waste if local recycling conditions do not allow sorting of these combined components. When handling empty containers, it is important to remove any product residues so that other recycled material is not contaminated.
