The plastic bottle with disc-top closure represents a practical and aesthetic packaging suitable for liquid and slightly viscous formulations. Thanks to its functional shape and reliable sealing, this packaging is ideal for dispensing products where control of the amount, clean application and secure closure during storage and transport are important.
The brown version of the bottle helps to reduce the exposure of sensitive components to light, which supports the stability of formulations containing plant extracts and oils. The disc-top cap allows convenient dosing by pressing without the need for complete unscrewing, thereby reducing the risk of unintended spillage and contamination of the contents during use.
This product represents a complete combination of bottle and closure, designed for convenient dosing and secure closing of the contents. Packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging works optimally with your particular product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
We recommend using the packaging in accordance with the recommended temperature range stated in the technical documentation and avoiding excessive heating, which could adversely affect the shape and properties of the plastic material. If you decide not to recycle the packaging by repeated use, it is appropriate to place it in sorted waste collection according to the material type stated in the product parameter table and follow local waste-sorting rules.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with proper handling and adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the closure and then disinfect them to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely and only then refill it.
First, rinse the packaging mechanically with a suitable cleaning agent and warm water to remove residues of the original product. Then we recommend rinsing or spraying the internal surfaces with an alcohol-based disinfectant, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the alcohol, let the bottle and the closure dry naturally at room temperature. Do not boil the packaging and do not wash it in a dishwasher, to avoid its deformation.
The disc-top bottle is ideal for liquid to medium-viscosity products for which precise dosing and convenient one-hand use are important. In practice, it is most often used for facial and body toners, micellar waters, shower gels, liquid soaps, shampoos, hair lotions, light massage oils and various professional or craft formulations intended for cosmetic use. For thick balms and highly viscous products, we recommend considering another type of packaging or dosing system.
We do not recommend washing this plastic bottle or the closure in a dishwasher or exposing them to very high temperatures, for example during boiling. Elevated temperatures and long-term exposure to hot water can lead to deformation of the packaging, deterioration of closure sealing and a shortened lifetime of the plastic. For cleaning and disinfection, it is preferable to combine hand washing with a gentle cleaning agent and disinfection with alcohol, which evaporates quickly and does not affect the shape of the packaging.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the material type indicated in the product parameter table. First, remove as much residual content as possible, and if necessary, rinse the bottle. Then separate the bottle and the closure, if they are made from different materials, and place them in the appropriate collection containers according to local waste-sorting rules. By recycling the packaging, you reduce the amount of municipal waste and support a more efficient use of raw materials.
The easiest way to choose a suitable packaging is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category, you will find the filter in the upper part of the page, where you can conveniently combine several parameters at once. You can clearly filter the products by the type of neck, required size, colour and material of the packaging. This allows you to quickly find bottles, jars, pots or dispensers that best match the character of your product and your design requirements.
