FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this bottle suitable for repeated use?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene rules are observed, especially for home or small-scale cosmetic production. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the final product.

How should I properly clean and disinfect this bottle before refilling it?

After emptying the packaging, we recommend first mechanically rinsing with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent that is compatible with the material used and the type of residual product. Then rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water and let it dry. Before refilling, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surfaces and the closure with alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the disinfectant, allow the alcohol to evaporate and only then refill the bottle.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this bottle if I do not wish to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material listed in the parameter table for the product.
