Is this bottle suitable for both more viscous and more fluid liquid products?

The disc top closure is designed to allow comfortable dosing of commonly used liquid cosmetic products such as gels, emulsions and oils. For very thick or, on the contrary, extremely thin formulations, we recommend first testing the flow and dosing on a small trial sample and, depending on the result, possibly choosing another type of packaging or closure.

Can I use this bottle repeatedly for different products?

The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed; however, we recommend keeping it for the same type of product (for example, always for the same kind of cosmetic preparation). Before each refilling, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find on Handymade.sk as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Disinfection before filling helps to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the stability of your products.

How should I properly clean the bottle and closure before the next use?

First remove residues of the original product by mechanically rinsing with lukewarm water and a suitable mild cleaning agent. Afterwards we recommend rinsing the packaging again with clean water and, after drying, applying disinfection – for example by spraying or pouring with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. After the disinfection has acted, let the packaging dry thoroughly at room temperature. By following this procedure, you support hygienic safety during repeated use.

How can I dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly way if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, placing it in sorted waste collection according to the material designation given in the product parameters. Follow the recycling symbol on the packaging or the information in the parameter table on the product page on Handymade.sk and place the bottle in the appropriate collection container according to local waste sorting rules. In this way, you support recycling and reduce the amount of municipal waste.
