Plastic bottle with cream dispenser represents a practical packaging for thicker cosmetic formulations, creams and emulsions where hygienic and controlled dosing is required. The dark version of the packaging helps protect more sensitive components from the effects of light and thus contributes to the long-term stability of the contents. Thanks to the dispensing system, contact of the product with air and the skin of the hands is reduced, which is ideal for products with a lower proportion of preservatives as well as for professional cosmetics.
This packaging is supplied as a combination of bottle and cream dispenser, which is designed for convenient and reliable dosing of thicker preparations. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the final product will meet your requirements under real conditions of use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed and it is handled appropriately. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dispensing part and then disinfecting them, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose. For disinfection you can use, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the packaging is completely dry is it suitable to proceed to filling with a new cosmetic formulation.
It is advisable first to empty the dispenser as much as possible and to dismantle it into accessible parts according to its construction. Clean the internal surfaces with warm water and a mild cleaning agent and rinse repeatedly to remove all residues of emulsion or cream. Then allow the parts to dry thoroughly at room temperature and only afterwards disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. When cleaning, avoid aggressive solvents and mechanically forcing the pump mechanism, in order not to damage the spring or the seals.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend that after emptying and basic cleaning you place it in sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. It is advisable to dismantle the plastic bottle and the dispenser into individual parts and sort them according to local plastic collection rules. It is always important to follow the recycling symbols on the packaging and the recommendations of your waste collection point or sorted waste system. In this way you support responsible recycling and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
The cream dispenser is designed for thicker emulsions and creams; however, with very dense balms or butter-based formulations, dosing may be more demanding. It is recommended always to test the behaviour of the specific recipe in a smaller amount to verify whether the pump mechanism reliably expels the product. If the texture is too dense, it is appropriate to adjust it slightly (for example by reducing the proportion of solid butters or waxes) or to choose another type of packaging, such as a jar.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the chosen packaging material category. In the advanced filter it is possible to combine several parameters at once – in particular the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, the colour and the material used. Thanks to this, you can easily narrow down the offer only to packaging that matches your product, design and the technical requirements of the formulation.
