The plastic bottle – medicine bottle with glossy dispenser represents a practical packaging for precise dosing of liquid and lightly gel-like preparations. Thanks to the reliable dispensing mechanism it is suitable for packaging cosmetic formulations, serums or specialized solutions where clean, controlled and hygienic use is important. The dark design of the packaging helps to reduce light penetration to the sensitive contents and contributes to their longer stability.
The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation). This will ensure that the chosen container, dispenser or applicator will be fully functional with your product even during long-term storage.
Yes, the packaging can, with appropriate handling, be used repeatedly. For repeated filling it is essential to observe hygienic principles – before each further use thoroughly clean the bottle and the dispenser and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. For disinfection we recommend using for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the future filling.
Before the first filling we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleansing component according to the type of the planned contents and then disinfecting it with alcohol. After disinfection it is important to let the inner surface dry completely and air out so that the residues of alcohol evaporate. Packaging prepared in this way reduces the risk of product deterioration and contributes to the stability and safety of your formulation.
The easiest way is to use the advanced filter in the relevant packaging category. After clicking on the category at the top of the page you will find filters where you can select according to several parameters – for example according to neck type, size, colour or material. By combining these filters you will quickly narrow down the selection to bottles, medicine bottles, jars or other containers that best correspond to the properties of your product and the method of application.
To preserve quality we recommend storing the bottle in a dry, clean place protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. Always close the dispenser carefully after use in order to minimise access of air and impurities. For formulations that are sensitive to light and heat it is appropriate to observe the recommended temperature range stated in the product specification or formulation.
The dispenser is designed primarily for liquid to lightly gel-like preparations. For thicker emulsions the dosing may be less smooth, so for new formulations we recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing whether the selected viscosity is suitable for the given dispensing type. In the case of very thick products it may be appropriate to choose another type of packaging or applicator which is intended for creamier textures.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, handing it over for recycling according to the material designation given in the product parameters and on the packaging itself. Follow local waste-sorting rules – plastic bottles usually belong in the appropriate plastic container. Before throwing away remove as much product residue as possible so that recycling is more efficient and more environmentally friendly.
