The plastic bottle with dispenser represents a practical and professional packaging suitable for everyday use in home and artisan cosmetics production. Thanks to the combination of a durable plastic body and a reliable dispenser, it enables precise, comfortable and hygienic dispensing of liquid products without unnecessary waste. The opaque design helps protect the contents from light, thereby supporting the stability of sensitive formulations.
This type of packaging is ideal for various liquid and semi‑liquid products that are applied using a pump – from facial and body care preparations to cleansing and hygiene solutions. The closed dispenser system minimizes the contact of the contents with air and hands, which helps to preserve the quality and safety of the stored product.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation). This will ensure the optimal functioning of the pump, correct sealing and the long‑term stability of your product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The dispensing bottle is primarily intended for liquid and semi‑liquid products, such as gels, emulsions, lotions, liquid soaps or lighter oil blends. With very thick creams, dispensing through the pump may be limited, so we recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing whether the pump expels the product without problems and whether the dispensing mechanism does not become clogged.
The packaging can be used repeatedly, including for different formulations, provided that hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is essential to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle and the dispenser in order to prevent microbial contamination or unwanted reactions between residues of the previous product and the new refill. For disinfection we recommend, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% or plant‑based ethanol Ethanol 96% denatured plant‑based, while it is necessary to follow the recommended procedure for working with alcohols and to allow the packaging to dry completely after application.
It is advisable to first rinse the pump with warm (not boiling) water with a mild cleansing agent, then rinse thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. For the final disinfection you can use an appropriate amount of alcohol (e.g. IPA or ethanol), which you allow to pass through the pump mechanism and then leave to evaporate freely. Do not use boiling water, do not boil the pump and do not put it in the dishwasher, in order to avoid damage to the plastic parts and seals.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the type of material indicated in the parameter table for the product. As a rule, it is necessary to empty the bottle, if needed rinse it from coarse product residues, and separate the individual parts (bottle body, pump, any tube or cap). Throw the body of the packaging into the appropriate container according to the material marking, and recycle or dispose of the remaining components according to their material identification. By following these principles, you will support more efficient processing of packaging waste.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the advanced filter it is possible to combine several criteria at once – for example, the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, the colour or the material used. Thanks to this, you will quickly select a bottle, vial or jar that will correspond to the consistency of your product, the desired volume and the design of the entire line.
