Plastic bottle with disc-top closure represents a practical and hygienic packaging solution, ideal for carefully dosed liquid and light gel products. Thanks to the thoughtfully designed closure, it is suitable for products that require controlled dispensing without contact with the remaining contents, which helps maintain the stability and purity of the fill throughout the entire period of use.
The disc-top mechanism allows convenient one-handed opening and closing and limits unwanted spilling or dripping. The closure creates a reliable barrier against external influences, thereby helping to protect the product’s consistency, fragrance and appearance.
This bottle is supplied as a functional combination of packaging and disc-top closure, which ensures comfortable and controlled dosing. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying the sealing, the behaviour of the closure and bottle materials in contact with the specific formulation, and checking the smoothness of dosing during long-term use.

Before specific use, we recommend becoming familiar with the material composition, the recommended working temperature range and the compatibility with the planned type of fill. For formulations containing a high proportion of alcohol, essential oils or active substances, it is advisable to carry out a trial filling and a short- and medium-term stress test.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging by repeated filling after use, it is appropriate to recycle it responsibly according to the type of material stated in the product parameters – sort the packaging into the appropriate collection container for the given type of plastic in accordance with local waste-sorting rules.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed, provided that it is not visibly damaged or deformed. Before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying and evaporation of the alcohol is the packaging ready for further safe filling.
We recommend cleaning the PET plastic bottle with lukewarm water, a mild cleaning agent and a soft brush or sponge to avoid scratching the surface. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, so do not wash the packaging in a dishwasher and do not boil it, in order to prevent deformation. After washing, rinse the packaging several times with clean water, allow it to drain thoroughly, then apply disinfection (ALK001 / ALK002) and wait for complete drying before filling.
The bottle made of PET material is not intended for filling with hot or freshly cooked products. High temperatures can lead to softening or deformation of the walls and closure, which will negatively affect sealing and safety of use. It is recommended to fill only completely cooled or room-temperature products. If you work with warm mixtures, allow them to cool gradually to the recommended temperature according to the material characteristics before filling.
If you decide not to use the bottle and closure any further, we recommend recycling them responsibly. First, empty the packaging as thoroughly as possible and, if necessary, rinse out product residues to reduce the load on the sorting line. Then sort the packaging according to the material specified in the product parameters – the type of plastic is given in the table on the product page. According to this marking, place the packaging in the appropriate container in accordance with the waste-sorting rules in your municipality. In this way, you support efficient processing and reuse of raw materials.

In the filter, you can conveniently choose the required parameters, such as neck type, size, colour and packaging material. In this way, you can quickly narrow down the selection to bottles, pill bottles, jars or pumps that best match the intended use and the design of your product.
The disc-top closure is ideal for liquids and light gels that are to be dispensed in small amounts without spraying, for example face toners, makeup removers, body milks, hair serums or shower oils. It requires a consistency that can flow smoothly when the bottle is gently squeezed. For very thick creams or pastes, other types of dispensers, such as pumps or jars, are more suitable, as they allow more comfortable scooping or squeezing out.
