FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this bottle also suitable for thicker creams, or only for liquid products?

The bottle with dispenser is primarily intended for liquid and semi-liquid products such as gels, fluids, emulsions or lighter milks. Thick, highly viscous creams may reduce the comfort of dispensing, therefore for a new formula we recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing whether the pump reliably expels the product and whether there is no excessive strain on the mechanism.

Can I safely use this bottle repeatedly?

The packaging can be reused provided that basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the dispenser and then disinfect them with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. To disinfect the packaging, you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Allow the disinfectant solution to act, then let the packaging dry completely at room temperature and only then refill it, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination.

How should I store this bottle correctly in order to preserve the quality of the packaging and the product?

The filled bottle is best kept in a dry and clean environment without direct sunlight and at normal room temperature. Do not expose the packaging to prolonged elevated temperatures, sudden temperature changes or mechanical pressure, in order to avoid damaging the dispenser or the walls of the bottle. When storing a larger quantity of empty packaging, it is advisable to keep them in closable containers or cardboard boxes that protect them from dust and impurities.

Then, where possible, separate the packaging into the plastic container and the dispenser and place them in the appropriate bin according to local waste-sorting rules.
