For disinfection, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based, which are suitable for disinfecting clean and dry packaging before their reuse.

Before refilling, the bottle, the dispensing part and all components must first be mechanically cleaned from residues of the original product and thoroughly rinsed. We then recommend using a disinfectant suitable for packaging, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After applying the disinfectant, allow the packaging to dry completely at room temperature. Disinfect only clean and dry packaging and always check that the disinfectant used is suitable for the type of product that you will subsequently fill into the packaging.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material type stated in the product parameters. First remove as much of the remaining contents as possible in order to minimise contamination of sorted waste. Then check the material labelling on the packaging (for example the recycling symbol with the plastic code) and sort it accordingly into the appropriate collection container. In the case of a combination of several materials, it is advisable, where possible, to separate the individual parts and sort them separately. Adapt the specific recycling procedure to the information in the parameter table and to local waste sorting rules.
