Plastic bottle with flip top closure represents a practical and durable packaging suitable for various liquid and gel formulations. Thanks to the high‑quality plastic material, the bottle is lightweight, unbreakable and convenient for everyday use in the bathroom, in a home cosmetic workshop as well as when travelling. The integrated flip top mechanism enables precise and clean dispensing of the contents without unnecessary spilling and contamination.
This type of packaging is designed to reliably protect the stored product and at the same time to facilitate its application even with more frequent use. Thanks to its compact shape and functional closure, it is suitable for home and semi‑professional filling of cosmetics and other liquid preparations. The brown transparent design enables visual control of the contents and has an aesthetic appearance in bathroom and cosmetic sets.
This bottle is supplied as a stand‑alone packaging that is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the selected parameters in the packaging category. It can be combined for example with screw caps, dropper caps, spray pumps or practical applicators designed for the given neck type.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially in the case of active or non‑standard ingredients.

When using plastic packaging made of PET material, it is important to take into account the properties of this material. PET is not suitable for exposure to high temperatures, therefore we do not recommend boiling the packaging or heating it in a hot water bath above the recommended filling temperature. In the case of excessive heating, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging, which may affect the tightness and functionality of the closure.
The packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. When cleaning, choose gentle procedures at lower temperatures and appropriate cleaning agents in order to maintain the shape stability and functionality of the bottle.
You can use the bottle repeatedly if you follow proper hygiene principles. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation (for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant‑based). It is also important to check whether the packaging and the closure do not show signs of mechanical damage or wear that could reduce the tightness or safety of use.
We recommend first rinsing the PET bottle with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, then rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and allowing it to dry at room temperature. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the packaging with an alcohol solution (for example with the products ALK001 or ALK002 available on Handymade.sk) and let any alcohol residues completely evaporate. Avoid high temperatures, washing in a dishwasher and boiling, in order to prevent deformation or weakening of the material.
This type of bottle with flip top closure is very practical for liquid and semi‑liquid cosmetic preparations such as shampoos, shower gels, body and facial emulsions, cleansing gels, liquid soaps or toners. It is also suitable for various oils and aromatic blends intended for cosmetic use. We always recommend testing the compatibility of the specific formulation with the packaging – especially for products with a high content of solvents, acids or essential oils.
If you decide not to use the bottle repeatedly, it is advisable to recycle it responsibly according to the material designation specified in the product parameters. First remove any product residues and empty the packaging as much as possible. Then place the bottle and the closure into a collection container intended for sorting this type of plastic according to local waste management rules. By sorting correctly, you enable further recovery of the material and reduce the amount of waste.
