The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles and appropriate cleaning are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly washed, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely at room temperature. Since this is PET material, the packaging must not be boiled or cleaned at high temperatures to avoid its deformation.

First we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bottle and the cap with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, avoiding hot water and long exposure to heat. Then rinse the components repeatedly with clean water and remove all residues of the original product. After mechanical cleaning, disinfection is necessary – rinse or spray the bottle and the cap with an alcoholic disinfectant solution, for example the products IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol 96 %. After disinfection, allow the components to dry freely upside down on a clean, non-linting surface.

This bottle is made of PET plastic, which is not suitable for contact with high temperatures. Washing in a dishwasher or sterilisation by boiling is not recommended, because at elevated temperature there may be deformation of the packaging and deterioration of the cap sealing. For cleaning, use lukewarm water, a mild detergent and subsequent disinfection with alcohol. Such a procedure is gentle on the material and at the same time ensures appropriate hygiene during repeated use.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend including it in separated waste collection according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. In the case of PET plastic, the empty bottle, rinsed as thoroughly as possible, is placed in the container designated for plastic waste. Before discarding, it is advisable to remove any product residues and, if possible, separate the cap. By following the sorting rules according to the local waste collection system, you support efficient material recycling and the reduction of environmental burden.

The flip-top cap is particularly suitable for low to medium viscosity products that can be conveniently squeezed out or poured by gently pressing the bottle. These include in particular facial and body lotions, liquid soaps, shampoos, hair tonics, massage and shower oils, disinfectant solutions or light emulsions. Before the final application of the packaging to a specific product, we recommend carrying out your own dosing and compatibility tests to verify the smoothness of dispensing, the behaviour of the material and the sealing during long-term storage.
