The plastic bottle with sprayer represents a practical and professional-looking packaging solution for various liquid formulations, especially where gentle, even dispersion of the product in the form of a mist is required. It is suitable for packaging cosmetic products, cleaning solutions and other blends where comfortable and hygienic application without direct contact with the contents is important. Thanks to the combination of a high-quality plastic body and a functional spray mechanism, this packaging is ideal for smaller batches as well as regular use in home production or professional practice.
The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles are observed and the spray mechanism is checked regularly. Before each new filling, the bottle and sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured of plant origin. If the bottle body is made of PET material, it is not suitable to expose it to high temperatures, to boil it or to wash it in a dishwasher, because there is a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of the sprayer tightness.
Before reuse, it is advisable first to rinse the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution, then rinse with water and finally disinfect with an alcohol-based preparation, for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured of plant origin. The disinfectant solution must be left on the surface for a certain time to act and then drained thoroughly. For plastic bottles made of PET material, the use of hot water or thermal sterilisation procedures is not recommended, in order to avoid deformation of the packaging or damage to the sprayer.
Suitability for alcoholic or oil-based formulations depends on the specific composition of the product and the type of plastic stated in the packaging parameters. Alcoholic solutions with a higher proportion of ethanol or isopropanol may affect some plastics and seals in the sprayer, therefore we recommend always carrying out a trial filling and a stability test lasting several weeks. For oil-based sprays, it is important to verify whether the sprayer can reliably dose the given viscosity and whether clogging of the nozzle does not occur. All technical and material parameters can be found in the Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Store the bottle in a dry and clean environment, protected from direct sunlight and sources of heat. If it is plastic of the PET type, the material should not be exposed to high temperatures, therefore it is recommended to avoid storage near radiators, in a car in direct sunlight or in areas with significantly fluctuating temperatures. Long-term exposure to heat may lead to a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of the sprayer tightness. For filled bottles, it is also advisable to store them in a vertical position in order to minimise the risk of leakage through the thread or nozzle.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it should be recycled according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters and in the marking on the bottom of the bottle. Before handing it over for separate collection, the bottle must be completely emptied and, if necessary, rinsed to remove any remaining contents. The bottle body and sprayer may be made of different materials, therefore we recommend following local waste sorting rules – in some places it is possible to place the entire packaging into the plastics container, elsewhere it is advisable to separate the body and the closure. Avoid boiling or burning the packaging under household conditions; in the case of PET material, high temperatures could lead to deformation and the release of undesirable substances. The safest solution is to place the clean, empty packaging in the appropriate container for plastic waste.
The easiest way to select suitable packaging is to use the advanced filter in the relevant category. After clicking on a category (for example bottles, medicine bottles or sprays), you will find at the top of the page an option to filter according to several parameters. You can choose, for example, the type and diameter of the neck, packaging size, colour or material so that you can easily find a bottle, jar or pot that will correspond to your product and the intended method of dosing. By combining several filters, you can quickly narrow down the selection to those packaging options that are most suitable for your specific project.
