Glass dropper bottle with black cap and pour-in insert represents a professional packaging solution for precise and hygienic dosing of liquid preparations. Thanks to the combination of a high-quality glass bottle and a functional closure with a pour-in insert, it is suitable for filling products where volume control and cleanliness during use are important. The durable glass helps to stabilize the stored contents and contributes to the long-term quality of the finished product. This type of packaging is particularly popular for cosmetic formulations, homemade recipes and artisanal preparation manufacturing.
Glass packaging is generally very well tolerated by formulations containing alcohol, essential oils or other aromatic components. However, before final implementation we recommend carrying out your own stability test – verify the behaviour of the product over time, compatibility with the closure and pour-in insert, and monitor any changes in fragrance, colour or viscosity. For concentrated blends it is advisable to prepare a small test batch and observe it for several days to weeks.
The bottle and cap can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, any residues of the previous product must be mechanically removed and it must then be disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product. For disinfection we recommend using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After applying the alcohol, allow the packaging and closure to dry completely at room temperature and only then refill them.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types listed in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle, once emptied and basically rinsed, should be placed in a container designated for glass. The closure, pour-in insert and any plastic or composite components should be sorted according to the applicable waste management rules in your area (usually plastic or mixed waste, depending on the material listed in the parameters). Before placing them in sorted waste, it is advisable to minimise any remaining contents to simplify the recycling process.
The most reliable procedure is to prepare a smaller test batch of your product and fill several identical bottles with the same closure and pour-in insert. Monitor the behaviour during pouring, control of flow rate, possible clogging of the insert with more viscous formulations and the tightness of the closure during transport. At the same time, we recommend carrying out a short-term stability test – store the filled bottles under the intended conditions (e.g. bathroom, cosmetic bag) and continuously check for any leakage and changes in consistency or colour.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. With the help of the filter, you can quickly narrow down the offer according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. In this way you can easily select bottles, dropper bottles, jars or other containers that best match the composition, purpose and design of your product.
