Glass bottle – dropper bottle represents a professional packaging intended for the safe filling of liquid preparations, cosmetic blends, pharmaceutical solutions or concentrated extracts. In combination with a suitable dosing closure, it offers precise and controlled dispensing, thanks to which it is ideal for products where hygiene, accuracy and long-term stability of the contents are important. High-quality glass is strong, chemically resistant, and a properly designed dropper bottle contributes to protecting the properties of the filled formulation during storage and use.
Glass dropper bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, atomisers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Glass is generally a very stable and chemically resistant packaging material, which in most cases is also suitable for formulations containing alcohol or concentrated active substances. However, we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – fill a small amount of the product, close the packaging, observe it in the short and long term and verify whether there are any changes in fragrance, colour, viscosity, or damage to the sealing of the chosen closure.
Yes, the glass dropper bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example with isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 %) or plant-based ethanol (Ethanol 96 % denatured). Only after the packaging has completely dried and aired is it appropriate to proceed with filling a new batch of product.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the packaging with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and allowing it to dry completely. It is then advisable to disinfect the bottle – for example by rinsing or spraying with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allowing it to dry again. When working, it is important to use clean tools and work in the cleanest environment possible in order to minimise microbial contamination of the prepared product.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials used, as indicated in the product parameters. The glass part can, after emptying and basic rinsing, be placed in the appropriate glass collection container. The closure, dropper or other dosing component is usually sorted according to the material used (plastic, or a combination of plastic and metal) – you can follow the material marking directly on the components and the recommendations of the local separate collection system.
The simplest solution is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category of bottles, dropper bottles or jars, you will find the filter at the top of the page. You can adjust your selection according to several parameters – for example according to the neck type, overall size of the packaging, colour or material used. Thanks to this, you will quickly find a packaging that will meet the technical and aesthetic requirements of your product.
